
How to Sell More: A 7-Step Framework for Building High-Converting Landing Pages with AI

In a recent Sell More Academy masterclass, I sat down with Antoni Hoshino, the founder and CEO of Pest AI, to break down the exact process we use to build complete, functional landing pages in under an hour. The 7-Step Framework for AI-Powered Creation
Antoni and I follow a methodical, seven-step approach to every project. This ensures we harness the power of AI without losing control of the outcome. The result is a powerful asset built on real data and customer insights, not just guesswork.
Step 1: Ideation
Every great landing page starts with a solid idea. Before you write a single line of copy, you need to define four key elements:
* The Idea: What is the core concept or offer?
* Target Market: Who are you trying to reach?
* Problem Statement: What specific pain point does your audience have?
* Solution Approach: How will you solve that problem?
For example, in our workshop, we focused on building a page for a pest control company targeting local restaurants. The problem? The constant threat of health code violations. The solution? A pest control service guaranteeing compliance and inspection readiness.
Step 2: Research
Once you have your idea, you need to understand the language your customers are using. Don't just rely on ChatGPT for this. Use tools specifically designed for market research, like Answer the Public. These platforms show you the exact questions people are typing into search engines. This is how you uncover the real
“who, what, when, where, why, and how” of their problem. These questions should be incorporated directly into your landing page, either as FAQs or answered preemptively in your copy.
Step 3: Validation
An idea that looks good on paper might not hold up in the real world. Before investing time and resources, you need to validate that people are actually talking about the problem you’re trying to solve. Use forums like Reddit and Quora, or search tools like Perplexity, to find real conversations. Look for the specific language people use to describe their frustrations and needs. This step confirms that there is genuine demand for your solution and helps you refine your messaging to resonate on a deeper level.
Step 4: Planning
With your research and validation complete, it’s time to structure your landing page. Don’t just start building. Create a detailed wireframe that outlines every section. A proven structure that works for most offers includes:
1. Hero Section: A compelling headline and sub-headline.
2. Problem Statement: Agitate the pain point.
3. Solution/Value Prop: Introduce your solution as the answer.
4. How It Works: A simple, step-by-step explanation.
5. Social Proof: Testimonials, case studies, or reviews.
6. Features & Benefits: What it is and what it does for them.
7. Objection Handling: Address common concerns or questions.
8. Call to Action (CTA): A clear, compelling next step.
9. FAQs: Answer any remaining questions.
10. Footer CTA: A final, can’t-miss call to action.
Feed all your research from the previous steps into a tool like ChatGPT to generate the copy for this wireframe. This ensures your page is built on data, not just creative whims.
Step 5: Building
Now for the fun part. Take your complete wireframe and copy and bring it into an AI-powered builder like Lovable. These “vibe coding” tools allow you to build a fully functional, beautifully designed page just by talking to them. You can provide your brand colors, logo, and existing website, and the AI will create a design that matches your brand identity. This is where the speed of AI truly shines, turning your plan into a tangible asset in minutes.
Step 6: Review
Before you hit publish, a thorough review is critical. Go through a detailed checklist to ensure everything is perfect. This includes:
* Technical Checks: Mobile responsiveness, page load speed, and functional navigation.
* SEO Optimization: Page titles, meta descriptions, and naturally integrated keywords.
* Compliance: Alt text on images, accessibility standards (ADA/WCAG), and legal links (privacy policy, terms of use).
* Functionality: Test all forms, click-to-call buttons, and analytics integrations.
Don’t wait for your customers to find a broken link. Test everything yourself.
Step 7: Launch
After a final sign-off from your team, you’re ready to launch. Make sure your form submissions are routed to the correct CRM and that all tracking codes are firing correctly. Now you have a live, optimized landing page ready to generate leads and sales for your business.
